How does one eliminate the local radio station from their PA system?

Answer: Adjust the input sensitivity selector of the offending channel on the board. In many cheaper PA mixers, the balanced inputs aren't truely balanced and changing the input sensitity alters the load impedance that your source is feeding. Often that is sufficient to "tune" it away from the radio station.
